SRHW offers BLS renewal course

WORTHINGTON — Sanford Regional Hospital Worthington will offer a Basic Life Support for the Health Care Provider renewal course from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. April 14 in the SRHW classroom.

The Basic Life Support for the Health Care Provider renewal course is designed for participants who respond to cardiac and respiratory emergencies and who have previously attended an American Heart Association Health Care Provider course or the American Red Cross equivalent. Content includes adult, child, and infant CPR (both one and two-rescuer,) proper treatment for the choking adult, child, and infant, and instruction on the use of barrier devices, a bag-mask device, oxygen, and an automatic external defibrillation (AED). Participants receive a course completion card valid for two years.
