Breaking news: Death investigation ongoing in Rock County

LUVERNE - Two male bodies were found dead at a Luverne residence Friday, the Rock County Sheriff's Office stated in a press release issued early this morning. An investigation has begun.

LUVERNE - Two male bodies were found dead at a Luverne residence Friday, the Rock County Sheriff's Office stated in a press release issued early this morning. An investigation has begun.

According to the press release, issued by Sheriff Evan Verbrugge, the sheriff's office was called at approximately 12:30 p.m. Friday to do a welfare check at the home of William Hiney Jr., 65, of Luverne, and his son, Terry Hiney, 45, of Luverne. Upon arrival, two male bodies were found dead on location. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCA) was called to assist the sheriff's office in the investigation.

An autopsy on both bodies will be conducted by Ramsey County Medical Center, the press release added. The Rock County Sheriff's Office and the BCA "are not actively looking for any other subjects to this investigation," the release continued.
