Democrats, Republicans endorse District 22 candidates

The DFL endorsed Kevin Vickerman as the District 22 State Senate candidate and Bill Brandt as the District 22B State Representative candidate today.

The DFL has not yet made an endorsement for the District 22A State Representative race.

Republicans endorse Forshey for District 22A Representative

Keith Forshey of Hills received the Republican endorsement today in the race to become State Representative for District 22A.

The seat is currently held by Doug Magnus (R-Slayton), who will not run for re-election. Instead, Magnus will run for the District 22 senate seat vacated by the retiring Jim Vickerman (D-Tracy).

The Democratic party will make its endorsements for District 22 later today, including the 22a and 22b State Representative races and the District 22 Senate position.
