Brief: Cultural sensitivity workshop at BARC

WINDOM — An upcoming workshop titled, “Cultural Sensitivity” will be 5 to 7 p.m. June 3 at the Business, Arts & Recreation Center Library, 1012 Fifth Ave., Windom.

The workshop will teach participants to observe their own behavior (both verbal and non-verbal) and that of others in a more compassionate and considerate way when working with those whose culture is different than their own.

The program is being co-sponsored with the Intercultural Communities Uniting (ICU), BARC Education Connection and Cottonwood County RSVP. For more information, call the BARC office at (507) 831-2375.
