Brief: Spirit of Harmony gets high honors

SPIRIT LAKE, Iowa — The Spirit of Harmony Chorus was awarded first place in the A division and second place overall in the Sweet Adelines International Region 6 competition recently in Winnipeg, Canada.
The 27-member chorus from northwest Iowa also had the third highest score earned in all of the 35 regional competitions internationally. The five highest scoring choruses are invited to participate in the Sweet Adelines International Harmony Classic in October 2011 in Houston, Texas.
