SRHW sponsors wellness clinic

WORTHINGTON — Sanford Regional Hospital Worthington sponsors weekly Wellness Partners clinics at the following sites: Multipurpose Senior Center, Lakefield, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays; The Center (Ace Hardware building), Worthington, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays; Homestead, Worthington, 8 to 9:45 a.m. Wednesdays; YMCA, Worthington, 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays; Sunshine Apartments, Worthington, 1 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesdays; An-Tony-O’s Pizza, Fulda, 8:15 to 9:30 a.m. Thursdays; Mapleview Estates, Fulda, 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursdays; Okabena Towers, 1 to 3 p.m. Thursdays.

Wellness Partners is a wellness clinic for those 55 and older. Seniors can meet with a nurse to discuss their medications, lab tests, blood pressure or other health-related concerns. The nurse works with individuals to assure they are following the health care plan established by a health care provider. The goal is to improve the quality of life of seniors.

Once a month, staff from Sanford Regional Hospital Worthington and other health care providers present to the group on a health-related topic. provides the education. The presentation in June is “Love Your Heart.”

June 24: 10 a.m. Mapleview Estates, Fulda; 1 p.m. Okabena Towers, Worthington

June 29: 11 a.m. Lakefield Multipurpose Center, Lakefield; 1 p.m. Homestead, Worthington

June 30: 1 p.m. Sunshine Apartments, Worthington.
