Chair Auction Raises Cash for Honor Flight, 5:59 p.m.
The chair auction went extremely well this year and we raised $3,011 for the Southwest Minnesota Honor Flight! The Globe's going to kick in extra, so the total amount of the donation will be $4,000! Click here to see how much each chair raised at auction!

The first round of chair donations is in--the totals people donated to the chairs in order to "vote" for them as their favorites. Click here to find out how much the chairs earned!
Folkdancing, 4:24 p.m.
Earlier, they were offering folkdancing lessons to kids, which resulted in quite a bit of fun! Adults danced with kids and kids of both genders danced with each other without worrying about girl or boy germs...

As you can see, there are other media organizations wandering around recording everything that's going on at the Regatta. I believe these folks are from WGTN-3, the local cable channel we partner with for all sorts of video projects... Click here for more!

Lollipop Girl, 3:25 p.m.
I was finally able to get this picture of a little tiny girl eating a lollipop while rocking out to the music of the Ditch Lilies. Currently Patchouli is playing. They're kind of a folk music group with a modern sound to it... Click here for more!
It's a Kid's World, 2:50 p.m.
About an hour ago it had dried up enough to allow them to move some of the art activities out from under the art tent. Still trying very hard to post a backlog of photos, but it's not working very well... Click here for more!

Art continues in the art tent, despite the sogginess of the ambiance. Fortunately, inside the art tent, it's still pretty dry. It's open until 2 p.m., I think, so it's a great time to bring your kids down and make some art... Click here to read more!
