Letter: Shame, shame on flower thief

This letter is to the person who went to Riverside Cemetery in Moorhead after we left and took our three hanging pots off my husband’s family plot. You know who you are.

This letter is to the person who went to Riverside Cemetery in Moorhead after we left and took our three hanging pots off my husband’s family plot. You know who you are.

On Sunday, May 30, we put out three pots of flowers: a geranium, a daisy and an impatiens plant. We went back late Monday to check on them, and they were all gone. Were you watching us set them out and thought it was an easy nab?

Shame on you for stealing from the dead and also for stealing from us.

I hope you like the plants. We did. Did you put them on your loved ones’ graves, or did you just take them home for your own pleasure? You even took the pan that I had set out with the impatiens plant in it. I wanted to make sure this plant had lots of water.

Shame on you. Shame, shame, shame.
