Man who hit woman with car arrested
ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa — A Rock Rapids man was arrested Wednesday after allegedly driving on a lawn and striking a woman with his car in the 800 block of South Third Avenue Sunday.
ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa — A Rock Rapids man was arrested Wednesday after allegedly driving on a lawn and striking a woman with his car in the 800 block of South Third Avenue Sunday.
Suspect Christopher Todd Huisman, 29, of Rock Rapids, then drove away before law enforcement was notified.
The victim was treated at a local hospital, having sustained numerous bruises and minor injuries.
Huisman was charged with driving while suspended, a simple misdemeanor, and intimidation with a dangerous weapon, a class C felony. He is currently out on bond.
