Tornado watch canceled for some counties; still on for others

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The tornado watch has been canceled for some counties, including Lyon and Sioux counties in Iowa, Cottonwood, Murray, Pipestone and Rock counties in Minnesota, and Lincoln, Minnehaha and Turner counties.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for six counties in northwest Iowa and eight counties in southwest Minnesota, to end at midnight tonight.

In Iowa, the watch includes: O'Brien, Dickinson, Osceola and Lyon counties, as well as Clay and Sioux counties.

In Minnesota, the watch includes: Cottonwood, Jackson, Murray, Nobles, Pipestone and Rock counties, as well as Lincoln and Lyon counties.

In South Dakota, the watch includes: Brookings, Moody, Kingsbury, Lake, Lincoln, McCook, Minnehaha and Turner counties.
