WORTHINGTON — The cost of getting a passport will soon go up.
Effective July 13, the cost to a first-time applicant for an adult passport will increase from $100 to $135, according to Nobles County Recorder Lynn Wilson. The cost of a passport renewal will also increase by $35.
“We just received this notification, and I would encourage anyone needing a passport to stop in at the Nobles County Recorders Office before July 13 and get in on the savings of $35 per application,” said Wilson.
The fee for a first-time minor applicant (younger than age 16) will be $105.
