SLAYTON — A retirement party for Sen. Jim Vickerman will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Royal Loon, 3124 Juniper, Slayton.
Vickerman, DFL-Tracy, decided not to seek an eighth term after representing the people of southwest Minnesota since 1986.
