Flower Power winners announced

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce through the Community Improvement Committee is sponsoring a “Flower Power — Yard of the Week.” This week’s recipient is Jean Kingery, 1913 South Shore Drive.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce through the Community Improvement Committee is sponsoring a “Flower Power — Yard of the Week.” This week’s recipient is Jean Kingery, 1913 South Shore Drive.

The committee also picks two businesses per month to share in the honor of “Flower Power — Business of the Month.” The first recipient for July is Johnson Builders & Realtors, 1114 Oxford St.

Anyone is eligible to nominate a residence or a business as a candidate for the “Flower Power — Yard of the Week” or “Business of the Month” Awards. Nominations can be made by calling the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce office at 372-2919.
