Storms hit Lakes area, cause damage

OKOBOJI, Iowa — The storm that passed through the region Saturday evening caused significant damage in the Iowa Great Lakes area.
Winds in excess of 80 mph were reported between 10 and 11 p.m. Saturday. Large trees were down in some areas, and boats, hoists and docks were wrecked in the Terrace Park area.
