Walking workshop offered in Jackson

JACKSON — The Jackson Active Living Partnership/Friends of the Jackson County Trails, along with the Cottonwood-Jackson Community Health Services and the Southwest Regional Development Commission, will present a Walkable Community Workshop from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church, 900 North Highway, Jackson.

JACKSON — The Jackson Active Living Partnership/Friends of the Jackson County Trails, along with the Cottonwood-Jackson Community Health Services and the Southwest Regional Development Commission, will present a Walkable Community Workshop from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church, 900 North Highway, Jackson.

The workshop will address successful pedestrian design, safety, education, enforcement and encouragement. A walking area will be studied during the workshop, and a light supper will be provided.
