‘Flower Power’ winners announced

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce through the Community Improvement Committee is sponsoring a “Flower Power – Yard of the Week.”

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce through the Community Improvement Committee is sponsoring a “Flower Power – Yard of the Week.” This week’s recipients are Rosanne and Fermin Goebel, 1977 Bay St.

The committee also picks two businesses per month to share in the honor of “Flower Power – Business of the Month.” The second recipient for July is American Lutheran Church, 915 Winifred, St.

Anyone is eligible to nominate a residence or a business as a candidate for the “Flower Power – Yard of the Week” or “Business of the Month” awards. Nominations can be made by calling the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce office at 372-2919.
