Starfire Rocks event is Friday
LUVERNE — The Rock County Courthouse Square will be rocking Friday night, and it’s all to support the area’s World War II veterans taking part in the second Southwest Minnesota Honor Flight Oct. 1-2.
LUVERNE — The Rock County Courthouse Square will be rocking Friday night, and it’s all to support the area’s World War II veterans taking part in the second Southwest Minnesota Honor Flight Oct. 1-2.
Starfire Rocks will perform for a cruise-in and dance from 6 p.m. to midnight Friday on the courthouse square, 213 E. Luverne St.
Corral parking will be available for more than 100 classic cars, motorcycles and other vehicles.
All proceeds will benefit the fall flight to send 110 World War II veterans to Washington, D.C., to view their memorial.
