Every child can learn
They have God’s DNA
They are wired to be inspired
No matter what people say.
The No Child Left Behind Law
Was never intended to be run this way,
National and state government gurus,
With $ in mind, plus perks, had their say.
Guess who loses? The child —
Their 9 parts of the brain ignored —
Time, ignorance and no one really listening
Has given them the grade card — they’re bored!
Technology, smart boards — let’s try that —
Ka-ching — put in the money — they’ll survive!
The broken system will all be fixed —
By the way — what’s on your hard drive?
