WORTHINGTON —Storyteller and author Kevin Strauss will present “MinneStory: 150 Years of Folktales, History Tales, and Legends” at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the fellowship hall at First Lutheran Church, 1200 Fourth Ave.

The Nobles County Library will host Strauss as he tells entertaining and educational stories to children and adults of all ages. The program will feature stories about the most famous bank robbery in Minnesota history (and why the James brothers got away), why a black bear has a short tail, and how Paul Bunyan got rid of our “Giant Minnesota Mosquitoes.”

Strauss is a professional storyteller and author based in Rochester.

The project is funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.
