The Plum Creek Library Systems and its member libraries have partnered with the Minnesota State Arts Board to bring Strauss’ entertaining and educational program to all ages. The program features stories about the James brothers and why they got away, how Paul Bunyan got rid of giant Minnesota mosquitoes and how one story a day makes a brain smarter at work and at play.
Based in Rochester, Strauss travels across the Midwest to perform at schools, libraries and community events. He has taught at several nature centers, including a stint as executive director at the Prairie Ecology Bus in Lakefield.
