MANKATO — Motorists are advised that traffic on Minnesota 60 from Interstate 90 to Wilder will be restricted for a resurfacing project beginning Aug. 23, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Traffic will be switched to two-way traffic with speeds reduced to 55 mph on the westbound lanes from I-90 at Worthington to Jackson County 24 and restricted through the work zone from County 24 to Wilder until mid-October.

The project consists of milling and overlay of the surface and adding additional lighting at intersections, which will provide a smoother and safer drive for the motorists.
