WORTHINGTON - The name of the driver of the pickup involved in the crash at Lake Ocheda Sunday evening has been released.
Benjamin Cunningham, 17, of Round Lake, was the driver of the extended cab pickup truck.
Truck crashes through bridge, lands in Lake Ocheda
WORTHINGTON - Worthington and Round Lake Rescue crews, along with the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office, Worthington Police Department and Worthington Ambulance work to stabilize the victim involved in a crash shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday on Nobles County 5, south of Worthington.
The unidentified driver of the extended cab pickup truck crashed through the wooden guardrail on the east side of the road and landed in Lake Ocheda.
As of press time Sunday, few details were available from law enforcement.
The victim had been transported to Sanford Medical Center Worthington and later transferred to another hospital, according to Nobles County Sheriff Kent Wilkening.
