Severe thunderstorm warning, watches issued

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Lyon County in Iowa and Pipestone and Rock counties in Minnesota, set to expire at 11 p.m.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 4 a.m. Friday for the following areas.

In Iowa: Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, Lyon, O'Brien, Osceola, Plymouth and Sioux counties.

In Minnesota: Cottonwood, Jackson, Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, Nobles, Pipestone and Rock counties.

In South Dakota: Brookings, Moody, Clay, Lincoln, Minnehaha and Union counties.
