Pilot walks away from plane crash

JACKSON — The pilot of an Ultralight plane was reportedly uninjured when his craft crashed Saturday evening in a soybean field south of Jackson.

The Jackson Ambulance and Jackson Fire Department were dispatched to the scene at about 8:15 p.m. Saturday. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and Jackson Police Department also assisted at the scene.

No further information was available Sunday evening.
