Operation Round Up deadline nears

WORTHINGTON —Operation Round Up grant applications are being accepted for fall funding until Thursday.

Operation Round Up is a program that operates much like Nobles Cooperative Electric, where people work together for the good of all. The concept of Operation Round Up is similar to the principal on which electric cooperatives were built over 70 years ago —neighbor helping neighbor.

Small change is gathered from participating members rounding up their electric bill, which amounts to big change for community programs and projects.

Non-profit organizations are welcome to apply to Nobles Cooperative Electric’s Operation Round Up trust for grant assistance. Application forms are available online at www.noblesce.coop or by calling the cooperative at 372-7331 or (507) 836-6107.
