Brief: Rock County Crop Walk is Sept. 26

LUVERNE — The 14th annual Rock County Crop Walk to help in the fight against hunger will begin with 1:30 p.m. registration and a 2 p.m. walk Sept. 26, in the Luverne City Park. Root beer floats will be served at 3 p.m.

LUVERNE — The 14th annual Rock County Crop Walk to help in the fight against hunger will begin with 1:30 p.m. registration and a 2 p.m. walk Sept. 26, in the Luverne City Park. Root beer floats will be served at 3 p.m.

Money raised during the event is divided between the Rock County Foodshelf, Minnesota hunger programs, United States hunger programs and international hunger relief.

Approximately $110,000 has been presented over the past 13 years in Rock County for the CROPWALK Program. People are invited to walk for a few minutes, for an hour or more and present a donation to help feed the hungry.
