Career expo is Wednesday
WORTHINGTON — Minnesota West Community and Technical College will host a Career Expo on Wednesday.
The event features approximately 50 local businesses, organizations and career-producing industries.
More than 600 sophomores from the following high schools will attend: Ellsworth, Round Lake, Southwest Christian, Hills-Beaver Creek, Fulda, Heron Lake-Okabena, Adrian, Windom, Jackson, Worthington and Okoboji.
Students may explore career fields in the areas of agriculture, food and natural resources; business, management and administration; engineering, manufacturing and administration; and health science and human services.
Students also learn about job interviews, careers in southwest Minnesota and education.
