LUVERNE - The victim of Tuesday's fatal rollover on Interstate 90 near Luverne was Justin P. Jackson, 25, of Vermillion, S.D.

The Minnesota State Patrol released the name at 8 a.m. today after family members were notified.

LUVERNE — The Minnesota State Patrol is still investigating a fatal rollover that occurred at 8:15 a.m. Monday on the westbound lane of Interstate 90 near Luverne.

The name of the person killed will be released after family is notified, likely sometime today.

According to the State Patrol’s incident report, a person was driving a 1997 Oldsmobile Achieva west on Interstate 90, when he or she ran off the road to the right and rolled the car, which ended up in a retention pond.

The Rock County Sheriff’s Office, Luverne Fire Department, and the Luverne ambulance and rescue squad assisted at the scene.
