SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The flood warnings continue for the following area rivers:
Des Moines River near Windom: At 10 a.m. Friday, the stage was 22.1 feet. Flood stage is 19.0 feet. At stages near 23.0 feet, the higher west bank overflows, flooding agricultural land.
Des Moines River at Jackson: At 10 a.m. Friday, the stage was 15.7 feet. Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river will continue to slowly fall during the next week. At stages near 17.0 feet, the lower levees in Jackson are overtopped, flooding parks and ballfields.
Little Sioux River near Milford: At 6 a.m. Friday, the stage was 13.5 feet. Flood stage is 12.0 feet. At stages near 14.0 feet, significant amounts of pasture and other farm lands begin to flood.
