Letter: Walz a politican we can trust

Voters have a choice on Nov. 2: Back to the Wall Street run-amok mess that killed jobs and created bailouts or authentic leadership and a vision for the future.

Representative Randy Demmer is tied to Wall Street lobbyists and took taxpayer money for days he wasn’t working while in the state legislature. He’s stated publicly that giving Social Security savings to Wall Street bankers so that they can gamble it might be a good idea. That’s OK with Demmer, because those are the same bankers paying for his negative television commercials.

Tim Walz voted against the bailouts. He’s a teacher, a National Guardsman and a football coach. We can trust Tim. That’s why I’m voting for him in November.
