WHS Trojan Marching Band takes honors in Anoka

WORTHINGTON - The WHS Trojan Marching Band shows off awards they received this past weekend at the annual “Halloween Capital of the World” Grand Day Parade in Anoka.

WORTHINGTON - The WHS Trojan Marching Band shows off awards they received this past weekend at the annual “Halloween Capital of the World” Grand Day Parade in Anoka.

The band performed their “PHANTOM” parade show and earned first place in Class ‘A’ and overall Parade Grand Champion out of 14 bands competing in two classes.

Worthington was competing with schools from the Twin Cities three times its size and came out on top, earning overall awards for Outstanding Winds, Drum Majors and Color Guard.
