Christmas Baskets deadline
WORTHINGTON — The deadline for applications for the Community Christmas Basket program is Tuesday. Inquiries must be made through local clergy. Baskets will be distributed between noon and 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 10.
WORTHINGTON — The deadline for applications for the Community Christmas Basket program is Tuesday. Inquiries must be made through local clergy.
Baskets will be distributed between noon and 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 10.
Donations may be dropped off from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 9 at the American Reformed Church, 1720 N. Burlington Ave.; or contact Peggy Olson, 376-4869, to have items picked up. Items that can be donated include warm clothing, mittens, toys and personal hygiene items.
Monetary donations are also appreciated. Checks may be made payable to Community Christmas Baskets, Box 552, Worthington 56187.
People wishing to volunteer should contact Diane Waldner, 372-2419, or Pat Remme, 376-4525.
