Laverne H. Swanson, 79, of Alpha, died Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at Sanford Hospital, Sioux Falls, S.D.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Jackson.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Jackson, with the Rev. Lance Isaacson officiating. Burial with military honors will be in First Lutheran Cemetery, Trimont.

Osterberg Funeral Home, Jackson, is in charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Mount Carmel Ministries or Trinity Lutheran College.
