REASON FOR GOING INTO THE MINISTRY: To share the freedom that the Gospel has to offer

HOMETOWN: Mankato

EDUCATION: Four years at Concordia University in St. Paul, four years at Concordia Seminary.

FAMILY: My wife, Katie Behnke, is a Early Childhood special education teacher at Prairie Elementary, Worthington.

PHILOSOPHY OF MINISTRY: To live out and show the love of Christ in all my interactions and share that love with others.

PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS: Exegetical studies, which is studying to see what the text is really saying.

PERSONAL INTERESTS: Football; World War II history is something that’s always fascinated me, something I’ve always enjoyed reading about and learning more about.

FAVORITE BIBLE VERSE: Psalm 103:10-12: He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
