Applications for Snow Queen
WORTHINGTON — Applications are being sought for the 2011 Snow Queen, who will preside over Worthington’s Winterfest Festival.
WORTHINGTON — Applications are being sought for the 2011 Snow Queen, who will preside over Worthington’s Winterfest Festival.
Winterfest is scheduled for Jan. 15. Other duties of the Snow Queen include representing Worthington in the 2011 King Turkey Day and Holiday parade, along with other public events during the year.
Candidates should be either a sophomore or junior in high school and have an interest in winter outdoor activities.
Applications are available at the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce office, 1121 Third Ave., Worthington. Application deadline is Jan. 3.
