LAKEFIELD — With school out for the holidays and the kids cooped up at home, what’s a parent/grandparent to do?

Bring them to Sparks Park in Lakefield for an afternoon of exploring the woods, playing goofy games in the snow, tracking critters and more. If there’s enough snow, there will even be snowshoeing!

The afternoon of Frosty Fun is planned from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 30, at the Prairie Ecology Bus Center, 935 N. Hwy. 86, Lakefield. The event is open to youths in grades 3 and up and their families.

Dress warm for the weather and wear snow boots (hats and gloves, too).

To pre-register, call (507) 662-5064 or e-mail marilyn@ecologybus.org.
