WORTHINGTON — “Hot Reads for Cold Nights” is the theme for the Winter Reading Program that begins Jan. 1 through libraries in the Plum Creek Library System.
Participants must be 16 years of age or older, and the books read or listened to must be checked out at a local library or bookmobile.
The more books a participant reads, the better their chances to win prizes. The library that turns in the most number of books read in ratio to its service will also get to display the Champion Readers’ Traveling Trophy for one year.
The Winter Reading Program is funded in part or in whole by money from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
