Katie Luitjens and Todd Larson were married Oct. 9, 2010, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Worthington, with Deacon Vern Behrends officiating.

Parents of the couple are Steve and Tracy Luitjens, Worthington, and Rob and Darla Larson, Spencer, Iowa.

Matron of honor was Kelli Fagerness. Bridesmaids were Megan Forey, Cassie Eckles, Sarah Berkland and Jodie Lovejoy. Per-sonal attendant was Ann Vassman.

Best man was Darin Chapman. Groomsmen were Cody Nielsen, Tyler Larson, Travis Larson and Charlie Kehr. Ushers were Travis Fagerness, Ben Sassman, Ryan King and Luke Lovejoy. Music was provided by Jill Brunk, organist; and Ann Sassman, vo-calist. Reader was Holly Binner.

The reception was at Worthington Country Club with Paul and Kelly Karelis hosting. Jan Vacura and Joan Nelson served punch and cut the cake.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Worthington High School, 2008 graduate of Buena Vista University with a degree in international business and marketing and plans to graduate in May from the University of Sioux Falls with a master’s degree in business ad-ministration. She is employed at Bedford Industries Inc.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Spencer High School and 2007 graduate of Iowa Lakes Community College with a degree in busi-ness administration and management. He is employed by Coca-Cola Refreshments.

They live in Knoxville, Tenn., and plan a wedding trip in April to Cozumel, Mexico.
