WMS students to perform in band

WORTHINGTON — Students from Worthington Middle School will participate in the Southwest Minnesota Band Directors’ Association 2011 Honor Band, including Laura Schuck, flute, Brianna Kempema, alto sax, Oliver Wolyniec, trumpet, Trevor Wietzema, trumpet, and Jaron Sternke, percussion. Approximately 300 students were nominated for the band.

WORTHINGTON — Students from Worthington Middle School will participate in the Southwest Minnesota Band Directors’ Association 2011 Honor Band, including Laura Schuck, flute, Brianna Kempema, alto sax, Oliver Wolyniec, trumpet, Trevor Wietzema, trumpet, and Jaron Sternke, percussion.

Approximately 300 students were nominated for the band.

Students will rehearse and offer a free concert to the public at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Marshall Fine Arts Auditorium.
