JACKSON — McKenna Prunty won all of her events on Sunday to lead the Worthington SWAGS youth gymnastics team at a 13-team meet in Jackson.
The SWAGS’ Aerials team finished seventh overall in the upper division with a score of 100.8, and the SWAGS’ Saltos team finished third in the lower division with a score of 90.25.
Prunty competed in the “novice” age group in the upper division, winning the all-around title for her age group by finishing first in the balance beam, uneven parallel bars, vault and floor events.
Kara Thuringer earned a second-place all-around result in the same category, finishing second on the bars, beam and floor and fourth on the vault.
Kennedy Fitzgerald was first on the beam and second on the bars, vault and floor in the “senior” age group of the lower division.
Liz Hayenga finished second all-around in the lower division’s “children” age group by finishing first on the vault and the beam, second on the bars and fourth on the floor.
The SWAGS will have their next meet in March.
