Doctor gunned down in Iowa
ALBIA, Iowa (AP) — Authorities said a former Worthington doctor was gunned down at his Albia home and his brother has been arrested in the killing.
ALBIA, Iowa (AP) — Authorities said a former Worthington doctor was gunned down at his Albia home and his brother has been arrested in the killing.
The Monroe County sheriff’s office said 60-year-old Gary Davis was shot just after noon Saturday. He died at a hospital.
Davis’ brother, 73-year-old Richard, was arrested about an hour after the shooting. The sheriff’s office said he’s suspected for first-degree murder.
Richard Davis was being held Sunday at the Monroe County jail.
No number was listed for Richard Davis. Online court records available Sunday didn’t reflect the charge against him.
