Hello Worthington,

It’s been almost six months that I’ve lived in Worthington, and I feel like I moved here. The last weeks were very nice, and I like the cold weather and the snow.

On the first weekend in December, I moved to my second host family. I now live with Jim and Ruth Putnam on a farm east of Worthington, and I really like it.

Christmas this year was a little different than before, because my family was more than 5,000 miles away. But I liked it and it was a new experience, and I survived it. At Christmas I was with my host family in the Cities at my host dad’s family. I had a great time there, and on the last day we went to the Mall of America.

Next to school. I am busy with swimming because I joined the Worthington Stingrays. I had a swim meet almost every weekend in different towns and at home. I really like to swim, and I have a great time with all the other swimmers. I swam at the Sections in Mankato and qualified for the state meet in three events. The state meet is in two weeks in Minneapolis.

Also, the last semester of my senior year started at the end of January, and I am excited for graduation. This quarter I am learning a third language, and that is Spanish. I enjoy the winter in Minnesota, and I hope the weather stays like this a little longer.
