WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 1:27 a.m. again at 3:56 a.m. Friday to 1107 Johnson Ave. to assist a female with a nose bleed that would not stop.

SPIRIT LAKE, Iowa — The Spirit Lake Police Department and the Iowa Department of Adult Parole and Probations arrested two people after a search turned up three bags of a substance believed to be marijuana and one bag of a substance believed to be methamphetamine Thursday at 512 1/2 19th St. Isra Brooks, 25, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, and keeping a disorderly house. Amber Dean, 21, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, and keeping a disorderly house. Brooks and Dean were booked into the Dickinson County Jail.
