PEBC to host event June 15

LAKEFIELD — The Heron Lake Watershed District, in partnership with the Prairie Ecology Bus Center (PEBC) and the Jackson County Water Planners, is hosting a “Who Wants to be a Scientist?” tour from 9:30 a.m. to noon on June 15.

LAKEFIELD — The Heron Lake Watershed District, in partnership with the Prairie Ecology Bus Center (PEBC) and the Jackson County Water Planners, is hosting a “Who Wants to be a Scientist?” tour from 9:30 a.m. to noon on June 15.

Free and open to youth who have completed the third grade, the program will include water testing, looking for critters and conducting a variety of water quality tests.

Meet at the PEBC in Lakefield at 9:30 a.m. A light snack will be provided. Dress for the weather.
