EDGERTON — Nate Jenson and Mitchell Jenson combined on a two-hitter for the Worthington legion baseball team in a 9-1 victory against Edgerton on Tuesday.
Travis Pearson took the loss on the mound for Edgerton.
Eric Koob and Jon Reller led Worthington’s offense by each recording a 2-for-4 day at the plate.
Edgerton’s two hits were by Blake Jouwstra and Gabe Vander Veen, with Jouwstra driving in the team’s only run.
Edgerton (0-1) hosts Luverne on Friday.
Worthington plays at Lakefield on Thursday and at Pipestone on Friday.

PIPESTONE — The Pipestone legion team broke open a 2-2 game with a five-run sixth inning to earn a victory against the Okabena legion team.
Alex Meyer (five strikeouts, three walks, five earned runs) took the loss in a complete game for Okabena.
Luke Henkels led the Okabena offense by recording both of the team’s hits — a triple and a home run — and Alex Olsem scored the team’s other run after reaching on a walk, stealing a base and scoring on an error on a batted ball by Austin Droll.
Okabena (1-2) plays at Fulda on Thursday.
