FULDA — Whether your interests reside in family fun, music or wood ducks, you’ll get plenty of everything this weekend at Fulda’s esteemed Wood Duck Days.

“The carnival we have every year is back again,” said TJ Graber, co-chairman of the festival committee, “It’s good, clean fun for the entire family.”

The carnival starts tonight, which is also Wristband Night, so kids can look forward to an unlimited number of rides.

Other than the carnival coming back, Woody will also return, as he’s done so for 25 years.

“It’s Woody’s 25th birthday, and we’re looking forward to commemorating him as the grand marshal of the parade,” Graber said about the town mascot. “It’s also Fulda Area Credit Union’s 25th year of service, so we’ll be celebrating that as well.”

Something not new but equally anticipated is the local band, Starfire.

“They will be playing at 5 in Fulda City Park,” said Graber about the Friday entertainment. “I’m looking forward to their performance, and I hope the community enjoys them.”

The veteran band, Bob and the Beachcomers, bounces back from its performance last year and will again be part of the family fun Sunday afternoon in the park.

“Community is what Wood Duck Days are all about,” Graber said. “Everyone gets together, works hard, and has fun.”
