The Worthington Okabena Windsurfers Inc. Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to extend our thanks and gratitude to the city of Worthington and surrounding communities for a very successful 12th annual Windsurfing Regatta and Unvarnished Music Festival.
Thank you to the city of Worthington’s Parks Department for your speedy response to cleaning the shoreline of weeds, providing and delivering picnic tables, barrels, fencing and barricades as well as installing the new mosaic murals. Thank you to John Nordell for the prompt electrical service. Thank you to Smith Trucking for delivering and providing the trailers for the stage and the traveling Worthington billboard. Thank you to Jim Hudson, GCC Ready Mix Worthington, for donating and delivering the sand. Thank you to the CAPP committee, Optimist Club and AOK club for sponsoring and helping with the kids’ tent activities. Thank you to mural artists Nick and Nicole Fisher. Thank you to the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office for the registration trailer. Thank you to Frontier Communications for the WI-FI access throughout Sailboard Beach.
Lastly, we would like to thank all of our sponsors and individual volunteers, too numerous to mention, that donate countless hours of help to make this event a success. See you next year.
