Over the past few years, there has been talk about putting seniors here or there but they are still in temporary and crowded quarters. The last I heard they were going to fix up part of the old YMCA building and use that for a senior/community Center. My question is this: When? I see nothing being done to that old building, and the topic has slid so far off the table of discussion, no one even bothers anymore.
I see a lot of hospital sale money being spent on many other projects, some of which I feel are questionable, but that’s my opinion. Aren’t the seniors of this town, who helped build this town, at least worth giving them what they have been promised?
