Carnegie Cultural Center cuts hours

LUVERNE — Due to the Minnesota government shutdown, the Carnegie Cultural Center in Luverne will be open by appointment only beginning on Tuesday.

LUVERNE — Due to the Minnesota government shutdown, the Carnegie Cultural Center in Luverne will be open by appointment only beginning on Tuesday.

This schedule will remain until the state budget problem has been resolved.

July’s show features Janet Olney’s hand-woven baskets. Olney is a world-class basket weaver from the Willmar area.

The August show is the Community Photo Contest. Photos can be dropped off at the Luverne Area Chamber Office during regular business hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday). Cash prizes will be awarded.
