Lakefield man found dead after crash
JACKSON — A Lakefield man died Tuesday morning when his vehicle entered a ditch on County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 14 and hit an embankment.
JACKSON — A Lakefield man died Tuesday morning when his vehicle entered a ditch on County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 14 and hit an embankment.
According to information released by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, 46-year-old James Dean Brewer was found deceased at the scene at approximately 7:23 a.m. The crash occurred about nine miles west of Lakefield.
Brewer was traveling westbound, entered the south ditch and struck an embankment. He was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Blazer, which authorities stated is listed as a total loss.
Assisting at the scene was the Okabena Fire Department, the Lakefield Ambulance and the Minnesota State Patrol.
